The irregular shape of the building responds tightly to the boundaries of the site hugging them as much as possible.
Whilst the rest of the building is more regularly adorned, the Southern facade is designed to have ripple effect glass.
The glass frontage is designed to be lit up at night by lights that will reflect off illuminating the area around the Monument in the place of public street lights.
Planned as a multi use building, it will have two entrances - one for the Museum within and the other for offices.
Flexible accomodation is planned for within with large floorplates that can be easily split into multiple tenancies.
11-19 Monument Street will have a large roof terrace on the top of it open to both members of the general public and office occupiers.
