  • One Hyde Park reportedly had the most expensive apartments in the world within with one listed on the market for 82 million in 2012. It was reportedly sold to Sheik Hamad of Qatar for 100 million although the Land Registry showed that the actual price paid was only 41.5 million.
  • Despite being the supposedly most expensive address in London, the building had in 2013 the highest rates of council tax non-payment in London. The building is also consider by many to be a symbol of "buy to leave" investors with a reported three apartments under full time occupation and the majority of the building empty the majority of the time.
