- The Tower Building is one of the buildings in the famous historical commercial core of Liverpool that is now a World Heritage Site.
- The white glazed upper cladding on this building has been produced by famous pottery-maker, Doulton.
- The building is laid out in the style of a classic "castellation" or medieval tower hence the name.
