The London Skyline

London may have one of the most famous skylines in the world but it's always fun to play "what if" and that's exactly what I've been doing here. Taking some of the already built landmark buildings of London I've added a selection of ones that have never been and will never be built along with some that are being built and a few proposed buildings too.

In there you'll find the original Albert Memorial, Millenium Tower, Living Bridge, Leadenhall Tower as well as the proposed whoppers of London Bridge Tower and City Ecogate Towers. It may be stylised but it just goes to show what rubbish English Heritage spout when they go on about protecting the skyline. We all agree that St Pauls and Big Ben should not be hemmed in by skyscrapers but this picture just goes to show you how stunning high-rise living and work can be.

This has been an ongoing project since the beginning of the year and it's finally in a form where I can upload it, a big relief given the amount of effort I've put into it at times. All the buildings in it are more or less to scale (give or take 50ft) and all the buildings should be in the right place, from West (left) to East (right). I'm going to be updating it constantly as new buildings get proposed so stay tuned for further details and remember you can get in touch with me anytime you like by mailing at me with ego massages and abuse at
