Virtual Planit Visualisation Firm

Virtual Planit

Virtual Planit started life in 2000 off the back of some groundbreaking digital work that we produced for Deansgate Locks in Manchester, creating a brand new entertainment focus for the city centre. And we were also lucky enough to work on Leeds Railway Station which is now England's largest station outside London with 17 platforms.

Other large scale digital projects followed soon after, an orientation model of The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, The New Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, the Inacity/Piccadilly Tower planning application, The Outlet Mall and residential towers at the Lowry in Salford Quays, and the massive masterplanning visualisation of Liverpool 1.

We have in the process built up digital city models of Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Doncaster, Stoke, The Wirral, Leeds, and many other terrain maps around the UK. VP spreads it's wings these days as far as Brazil, and the middle East working on high profile developments.

Over the years we have been involved in major PFI works for hospitals, schools and colleges, police stations, and large scale public housing, we've even produced animations for Lucas Arts Star Wars merchandise, and lucky enough to have created the online ticket sales site for corporate hospitality at a FIFA World Cup.

We then went on to create our own interactive web development company which produces great sites for property developers and estate agents.

VP are entering a new development phase in 2009/10, with work in prototyping online medical research, and in producing interactive orientation systems which we all are very excited about.
