This tower was shelved after the architect was unable to reconcile the differences of opinion he had with the Commission for Architecture and Built Environment. CABE felt it was not a suitably stunning building for such a prominent location.
The crown of the tower would have featured an enclosed skygarden with opening roof with the weather permitting.
