This was originally built as Britannic House in 1967 as the 122 metre tall headquarters for British Petroleum.
Wates City bought Britannic House for £143 million making it per acre the most expensive real estate in the world at the time of sale in 1999.
In 2004 it remains the largest single lettable building in the whole of the City of London.
