All Saints Church

Images

  • All Saint's Church, Runcorn

Other Information

  • All Saint's Church, Runcorn, is based on Early English Gothic, as seen most famously at Salisbury Cathedral.
  • It was constructed thanks to public subscription, to replace the previous All Saints' Church that had become so dangerous it was no longer possible to ring the bells without the risk of the tower falling down. Although the likes of George Gilbert Scott had been brought in with the view of restoring the old church, it was felt the structure was beyond repair.
