  • This tower is the on the site of Limebank House, the former Barclays HQ and tallest building demolished in London at 93m until Drapers Gardens.
  • The site is owned by Marks and Spencers who have built a 9 floor building there which lies empty.
  • Developer, Churchill Securities proposed this tower and attempted to buy the site during the construction of the M&S project and were rebuffed. Despite this they continued with the proposal which was recommended for approval by the planning authorities but withdrawn thanks to lack of site ownership.
