- The Grand Burstin Hotel is constructed on the site of the former Royal Pavilion Hotel. The Grand Burstin Hotel was constructed in two phases starting in the 70s, and culminating with the extension of it onto the site of the Royal Pavilion Hotel in the early eighties.
