  • The first chancel in the church collapsed during the 16th century and now the structure no longer takes on a cruciform shape. The north transept has also been lost creating an L shaped footprint.
  • The spire was in poor shape by the end of the 19th century and subsequently rebuilt along with a general renovation of the church which culminated in 1895.
