Norwich Cathedral is the second tallest
medieval church still standing in the U.K and
the fourth tallest church today.
The building holds a number of records
including the greatest number of roof bosses
for a church, 900 in all, and the highest
Norman tower in the country.
Unusually given historical events of the day,
most of the cathedrals archive has been
retained including 3,500 rolls from 1272 to
1539.
