  • This is the earlier version of St Botolph's House with 15 floors. It was then amended upwards to 36 before being dropped for the now defunct Minerva Building.
  • In mid-2006 Minerva resurrected this approved project again and started construction the following year.
  • The building has been designed so that it could function as a single headquarters for a financial services company if desired with the first and second levels capable of acting as a trading floors.
  • To create the ability to have uninterrupted floors, the architect has placed the service cores at the edges of the floorplates. Adjacent to each of the service cores is an 18 metre wide atrium that spans the height of the building. These service cores are easily spotted at night thanks to the lighting of the stair cases that run up them.
  • Providing bracing at the highest four levels of the building are bridges which span the four atria helping to strengthen the structure. Further bridges can be added or removed from other levels depending on the requirements of the occupier.
  • On the roof of the building a photovoltaic energy farm that helps contribute to the building power. In periods of light use, the services of the building such as escalators switch to low energy mode where they travel more slowly.
