Elmley Moor is the tallest standing free structure in the United Kingdom.
The concrete neck has an observation room 275 metres up it that is reached by a lift that takes a journey of 7 minutes from top to bottom.
The tower is a replacement for a previous mast that collapsed on Christmas Day in 1969 that was identical to the Belmont one which still stands.
The foundations are 6.1 metres deep and the entire structure weighs 11,200 tonnes.
The tower is not currently open to the public for "security reasons" however there is an observation area off Titus Lane to the immediate north of it.
