  • The Stifford Estate in east London was one of two estates chosen by the London County Council to receive a Henry Moore sculpture, in this case "Drape Seated Woman" which was sold with a huge discount to the local council for 7,400. Unfortunately by 1997 the estate was demolished, and the statue badly damaged by vandals.
