  • This building was originally called Radiation House, a suitably futuristic name when it was completed before the effects of radiation were fully known.
  • Radiation House was constructed as one of dozens of buildings built in the early 1960s as part of strategic plan to disperse offices from central London to make them more affordable. It stood on 15.25 metre deep foundation piles and had simple square floors of 16.7 metres.
