  • Bowring Tower has been replaced by Norman Foster's Tower Place. From inception to demolition, the period of time took a total of eight years with Tower Place only opening in 2001, eleven years after the original redevelopment plans surfaced.
  • Bowring Tower consisted of an office building and podium built over an underground coach park that was constructed to serve tourists visiting the nearby Tower of London.
