Lunar House

Other Information

  • Lunar House and the neighbouring Apollo House are named after the NASA Apollo Space Programme of the 1960s.
  • Although Lunar House was designed with the intention of having ground floor retail fronting onto Wellesley Road, the retail units are empty due to the building being occupied by the UK Border Agency following a renovation in 2001. The pre-cast concrete cladding was also replaced along with a modern mechanical plant room and and the addition of a fire escape staircase.
