Other Information

  • Originally a 164m tall tower was proposed here complete with observation deck but it was withdrawn following criticism from the Royal Parks.
  • The Grand Union Building contains six interlinked blocks ranging from 9 floors upwards with 60,390 sq m (650,000 sq ft) of offices and 281 homes.
  • Due for a 2005 start this project never got off the ground thanks to a poor economic climate and the reluctance of the developer to build speculatively with the lack of a pre-let
